Life happens in a blink of an eye. And before you know it you stop to to look in the mirror and realize that that you’re not as young as used to be. Living in the moment. Being true to yourself and your core values is in my mind LIVING AUTHENTICALLY. Living a life without regret or shame. Feverishly and Fearless. A lively combination which in turn is easy to comply with when we do regular inventory of ourselves. Hold your self accountable for the mistakes, and learn from them rather than running away from them.
Recently, I did a check in with my self. Where am I ? Am I where I had hoped to be? Looking over the past year I’ve had the opportunity sort and organize my thoughts to see the greater motion picture that I have created.This is what I found. I appear to be moving away from cleverness and concepts and more towards expressing a loose and unrestrained passion for the music that I lost and forgotten was ever inside me. The fire within.
Well, a road of uncertainty has lead me to put thoughts to paper and somehow it brings me great joy to write songs of what I know to be true. After all, shouldn’t that be what music is all about. Knowing what evokes the sole. I simply want to move you within.
